Since 1896, Oakwood College has provided students the opportunity to enter its halls of learning in preparation for service to community, country, and the world. The college is regionally accredited by the Southern Accrediting Association of Colleges and Schools and the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Department of Education. It offers a liberal arts curriculum in a Christ-centered atmosphere.

The college is situated on approximately 1,200 acres in Huntsville, Alabama, home of the Marshall Space Flight Center, and is recognized as being one of the most progressive cities in America.

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - The National Association for the Prevention of Starvation (NAPS) organization from Oakwood College in Huntsville had a group of students helping victims of a deadly tornado in Mississippi.
