  The Edmonds School District filled one opening for a high school boys basketball coach this week. Now it has another. Todd Rubin has resigned as the head coach at Edmonds-Woodway. He accepted a position as an assistant coach at Northwest University in Kirkland.

  Northwest University made another step toward it's first ever softball team, announcing John Bacon as the team's head coach. He will begin in December 2011 and begin recruiting for the team which will join the Cascade Collegiate Conference in the spring of 2013.
