School Notes:

  • Located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the beautiful, 100-acre campus has excellent teaching-learning facilities. Through the support of alumni and friends, the College has continues to invest in new and renovated facilities. A $7 million renovation to the Mikkelsen Library was completed last spring and this fall marked the inaugural season of Kirkeby-Over Stadium.
  • Augustana is a selective, residential liberal arts college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Central to its mission are five shared values: Christian, Liberal Arts, Excellence, Community, and Service. The College is an acknowledged leader in undergraduate higher education. US News & World Report recognizes Augustana as a top ten "Midwest Baccalaureate College" and has also identified it as a best value in this same category. Augustana is also listed in The Templeton Guide: Colleges That Encourage Character Development.
