    The Valley City State baseball dropped three games to Midland Lutheran College on Sunday in Fremont, Neb. A doubleheader for Saturday was postponed, so the teams decided to play a triple-header on Sunday. Midland won the games 11-3, 2-1 and 4-3.

With 962 students, one-third are students who had planned to enroll at the now-closed Dana College, Blair, Neb. Midland is one of 26 colleges and universities of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
