- The Women's Environmental LEADership program, WE LEAD, educates and empowers female students, faculty and staff to become socially conscious environmental stewards and proactive members of their community.
- The program offerings include courses in women's studies, environmental speaker series, which brings both local and national figures to campus to share their experiences, a student-run organization that sponsors trips, a retreat, open circle gatherings, and other activities, a WE LEAD certificate that students earn while participating in WE LEAD.
- Unity College offers 20 Bachelor’s and 3 Associate’s degrees. We offer more environmental programs than any college in the U.S. This woman-centered program is designed to broaden and enrich the college experience, and to encourage personal discovery, empowerment, and a sense of community at the college and beyond.
- Unity College exists for the student whose love of the outdoors is reflected in their education and career choices. Unity college students typically place a premium on jobs that do not require sitting behind a desk! An education at Unity can be your first step to a position with a biological research center, state park, wildlife refuge, nature education center, or wilderness recreation organization.
- The College is 200 miles north of Boston, 40 miles from Augusta and Bangor, Maine, 15 miles from Waterville, Maine, and 25 miles from Historic Belfast on Penobscot Bay and 25 miles from the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
- The Unity College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
