School Notes:
- Williams is located at Walnut Ridge in northeast Arkansas. The campus offers the peace and security of a rural setting with easy access to larger communities. Walnut Ridge/Hoxie has a population of about 8,000, and Pocahontas, eight miles to the north, has 6,000 residents. The campus is nestled between the Ozark Mountains and Crowley's Ridge, with ample outdoor activities available.
- A Williams education challenges students to reach the height of their abilities. Personal attention from a caring and highly qualified faculty gives Williams students the academic edge, and a wide array of majors, minors and pre-professional programs creates limitless career options.
- Over 20 student organizations are active on the Williams campus, including ministry and service organizations, social clubs and academic societies. These groups help build relationships with fellow students and develop valuable leadership skills.
- Athletics are also a major part of campus life. Intramural sports, such as basketball, softball, volleyball, and flag football, are very popular. The Williams Eagles field teams in six varsity sports, as well.

Officials at the Conway school announced Monday that former Ouachita Baptist player Tony Price has been tapped to lead the program. He succeeds Josh Austin , who resigned after five seasons with the Mustangs to take the head job at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge. -

Josh Austin, Central Baptist College’s men’s basketball coach the last five years, is the new men’s coach at Williams Baptist College. Williams Baptist, in Walnut Ridge, is NAIA Division I. CBC became an NAIA Division II member this year. read more -

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. — Josh Glick pitched a four-hitter with 15 strikeouts Friday to give the Benedictine-Springfield Bulldogs a 5-2 victory over Williams Baptist College for a sweep of their non-conference doubleheader. Benedictine won the first game 7-3 in eight innings. -

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - Two big innings by Williams Baptist College here Wednesday cost Blue Mountain College two games. With BMC leading 3-2, WBC scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to win the opener 5-4.
