• At Sierra Nevada College, we combine this liberal arts education and professional preparedness through an interdisciplinary curriculum which emphasizes environmental, social, economic, and cultural responsibility and sustainability. We prepare our students to think critically and communicate effectively in order to pursue a lifetime of achievement and success.
• Sierra Nevada College offers degree programs in more than 14 different fields, as well as offering continuing education programs, an acclaimed summer arts program, and numerous courses at satellite centers in Nevada.
• With the motto “Freedom, wisdom, and responsibility” reflecting a progressive, forward-looking approach to academics, Sierra Nevada College offers more than 30 undergraduate majors, minors, and concentrations. With a liberal arts education, student have the opportunity to experiment in other areas of interest — taking a class in sketching, testing research in a chemistry lab, or exploring their musical talent. The goal of a great liberal arts college is to craft a curriculum that ensures students are exposed to the best of human thought and ideals.
• Sierra Nevada College Lake Tahoe is located in Incline Village, approximately two miles from the shore of Lake Tahoe, at an elevation of 6,700 feet above sea level. The elevation of the Tahoe Basin ranges from lake level, 6,225 feet, to 10,776 feet at the summit of Mount Rose directly above the SNC Campus.

  INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — The Sierra Nevada College Millennium Plus Scholars Award is a $50,000 scholarship (four years at $12,500) earmarked for the approximately 8,000 graduating high school seniors (Spring 2011) who will be eligible for the Guinn Millennium Scholarships.
