Tartans Move On; Win Regional Title for Third Time - May 12 (Carnegie Mellon)

Led by three seniors, the #6 Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team won it's third regional title in the past four years, defeating host and #8 DePauw University 5-0 on Saturday, May 12 in Greencastle, Indiana. The Tartans swept through doubles play and received victories by their No. 2 and No. 3 singles players to finalize the win. -

The #6 Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team advanced to the third round of the 2012 NCAA Women's Tennis Championship with a 5-0 win over Coe College on Friday, May 11 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. The Tartans improve to 17-5 and will play for the regional championship for the seventh time in eight years including the last five. -
