- Northland College is located ten blocks from Lake Superior on Chequamegon Bay in the city of Ashland, Wisconsin - home to 8,300 people. With its Main Street shops and theatre marquis, Ashland has a great small-town feel. The area is surrounded by nearly a million acres of the Chequamegon National Forest.
